Opportunity:
A New Dawn Facilitator is not just a program coordinator or a bridge for mentees - they form lifelong friendships, nurture Christ-like values, and grow alongside the children they mentor. It is a calling.
Be the Guiding Light in a Child’s Journey
Experience the ultimate fulfillment of seeing a child grow in confidence, purpose, and potential - knowing you played a part in that transformation. You’ll become a trusted mentor, shaping young minds and hearts for a brighter future.
Build a Community That Feels Like Family
You’re not just leading sessions - you’re fostering deep, authentic connections. You’ll become part of a warm, supportive network of parents, children, and fellow mentors working together to uplift and empower each other.
Grow as a Leader, Inspire as a Role Model
This opportunity allows you to develop your leadership skills, refine your communication, and learn how to motivate and inspire others - grounded in Biblical principles. Every session becomes a chance to grow while helping others thrive.
Leave a Legacy That Lasts a Lifetime
The words you share, the encouragement you offer, and the safe space you create will leave a lasting imprint on every child and parent you encounter. Long after the session ends, your impact will continue shaping lives for years to come.
TRAINING AND VETTING PROCESS:
At New Dawn Mentorship, we take the safety, well-being, and privacy of the children in our program very seriously—especially given the nature of the families we serve. Our vetting and training processes strictly adhere to the Constitution of Kenya: Children Protection Act.
Our background checks are extensive and thorough to ensure the highest standards of integrity and trustworthiness. These include, but are not limited to:
A Certificate of Good Conduct
A recommendation letter from a recognized institution (church, workplace, etc.)
An application letter
A peer recommendation
Only individuals who meet our rigorous standards will be selected to join our team. This process ensures that every facilitator is not only qualified but also aligned with our core values of excellence, discretion, and child-centered mentorship - upholding professionalism, confidentiality, and respectful engagement at all times.
At New Dawn, mentorship is a privilege entrusted only to those fully prepared for the responsibility. Our training is comprehensive and designed to equip facilitators with the skills, ethics, and discretion needed to work effectively with children of varying ages.
The training is led by a certified Master Trainer with years of experience in mentorship. It aims to equip selected facilitators with the knowledge, skills, and ethical framework required to guide sessions effectively—while upholding the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, Christian values, and child-centered engagement.
